A beautiful cathedral with a Baroque portico. There are paintings by Luigi Fontana and Ludovico Mazzanti, as well as a beautiful panel of the Most Holy Savior in the central chapel of the left nave. The Cosmatesque floor is fantastic! There are few tourists... just you, and the silence is so beautiful, in a magical atmosphere!

I visited this beautiful church during the Christmas holidays of 2024 but to my great regret I found it open but totally in the dark with no possibility of illuminating it even for a fee as is the case for the crypt below: a real shame... So I recommend you visit it during daylight hours
