A stopover for pilgrims on the Via Francigena and hikers of all kinds, it also features two conference rooms and the possibility of using the kitchen. Affordable and charming, it's a corner of paradise. Run by volunteers, it's a non-profit organization.

A wonderful experience; staying in this convent as a pilgrim made me feel truly like a queen. The small single rooms, each with a bed and a desk, are more than spacious enough. There's a terrace where you can hang out your laundry, and the bathrooms on each floor are adequate. The kitchen may seem small, but it has everything you need.

My husband and I visited the church but didn't stay in the convent, so I'm only reviewing the former! It's a pleasant place to stay, peaceful and tranquil. The wooden furniture and decorations stand out against the light-colored walls. Several relics of Padre Pio are kept in a couple of display cases. The exterior is also beautiful.
