QUITE MODERN BUT ELEGANT CATHEDRAL WITH MANY LOVELY FEATURES.

This is more like it. After popping in to a few churches in Comacchio, none of which were anything special, finally I got to the cathedral. It was built in the 17th century on the top of a former church with the bell tower added in the 18th. It's spartan outside but the inside is richly decorated.

Only seen it from the outside. Looks cool, though. Comacchio is a nice little town, "off the beaten path". The tourists here are mainly Italian. It's a little Venice.
