The Mother Church of Belmonte Mezzagno is beautiful with its stairways on either side of the entrance and its unique construction style. Alberto Sordi shot a film in this beautiful square where the Mother Church is located, with its marvelous Crucifix from which the church takes its name.

A beautiful 18th-century church. An imposing façade, over 30 meters high, is reached by an equally impressive staircase. The interior has two naves with a front altar surmounted by a beautiful crucifix dating back to the same year as the church's construction.
