The 17th century Baroque church of Sant' Antonio dei Portoghesi is an absolute gem. The national church of Portugal was completed in 1638 by the Roman architect Martino Longhi the Younger (1602-60). …
Sumptuous midsize church displaying masterpieces of stonework. The Portuguese doing their best to enrich their oldest temple in town. Spotlessly clean.
Beautiful Portuguese church in Rome city centre! The priest was very welcoming, and invited us for an ancient organ concert, totally for free! The Portuguese church inside is absolutely stunning, looks like a giant “Ferrero Rocher” worth definitely a visit!
