The church of San Rocco dates back to the second half of the 18th century and was built in the district known as Valle to witness the development of Via Vittorio Emanuele and Via Pisciolo, when, by now saturated with people in the Borgo del Castello, the town began to expand towards the current center, around Piazza Plebiscito.
