Church of San Rocco : Contrà Mure S. Rocco, 28, 36100 Vicenza VI, Italy

At the end of Contrà San Rocco lies the small square overlooking this church, with its simple façade and evocative interior. During the Christmas season, the church is the backdrop for a now traditional bell-ringing concert. NB: 2 km from the Corte Segreta bed & breakfast in Vicenza.

A small treasure, unfortunately, almost always closed to the public. The adjoining cloister is also splendid, with valuable paintings from the second half of the 16th century attributed to Giovanni Battista Zelotti. A curious fact: inside is the only surviving exhibit wheel in the Veneto region.
