This cute little church is easy to miss but I would highly reccomend the visit as it is one of the most peaceful places in town. If you are an art lover, you won't be disappointed: there's an amazing side altare with a beautiful image of Madonna. There's also a little park with a well in its centre in front of the church.

Very nice old church of St. Francis located close to the Muggia fortress.

You come across it as you climb up towards the castle. Perched on a hill, it's a very beautiful, unexpected sight, next to the slope. The interior inspires serenity and features an interesting painting of the Madonna dell'Atte and a beautiful Pietà.
