The Mother Church is one of the oldest buildings in Santo Stefano Quisquina: it was founded 500 years ago by Federico Chiaramonte. The church is currently undergoing restoration. Although it doesn't look particularly beautiful from the outside, the interior is quite rich and decorated. I recommend everyone to visit this church.

Looking at it from the outside, you wouldn't expect it to be so beautiful inside. It also contains paintings that narrate the life of Saint Giacinto Giordano Ansalone, a martyr of Japan. The church has been very tastefully restored.
