A beautiful Roman basilica from the late 11th century. The three-nave basilica with east-facing apses features Romanesque motifs in the blind arch decoration on the Moltrasio stone façade, still visible above the 17th-century porch. The best view is from Piazza Giuseppe Garibaldi opposite.

It is old and in need of renovation, but from its position it dominates the Cantù square of which it is the symbol and the view reaches as far as the entire Monte Rosa massif visible from the Cantù square.
