A Romanesque church of unexpected beauty dating back to the first quarter of the 13th century. It surprises us contemporaries with its harmonious integration into the urban landscape and the striking two-tone effect of its dark basalt ashlars (a stone traditionally worked in this area) alternating with those of reddish vulcanite.
Artemisia
Another splendid Romanesque church in the Ghilarza area; easily recognizable because it was built with volcanic stone, which is typical of the area. Unfortunately, the church cannot be visited.
