The current church was built between 1707 and 1725 in perfect late Baroque style, expanding on a pre-existing 15th-century building, of which only the beautiful stone bell tower remains today. The portico-pronaos was built in 1829. Its elevated position above the village makes it an excellent panoramic viewpoint.
