I disagree with the negative reviews. I think the negative reviewers just want something that's instagram-friendly. The architecture is amazing and imo it is also beautiful in its own way without any ornamentation. It's worth the entry fee (cash only). Also, if you went to Santa Maria next door then it's only 1.50 euro.

Not a must to visit the inside, but if you can squeeze it in your schedule, do it! Very lovely place and interesting building!

Compared to the Santa Maria church right next to this one it is really underwhelming. Also the tickets cost more than the Santa Marta Church while it's much smaller, the air is really stale and maybe less than 40 people fit into this …
