It's still a work in progress; I believe the church was inaugurated solely to satisfy the vanity of those who were supposed to be hosting the inaugural parade. Any assessment must be postponed until everything is completed, but that will be years away!

Designed by Paolo Portoghesi, the new interparish church is destined to become the Co-Cathedral of Lamezia Terme. Its construction was announced by Pope Benedict XVI on the occasion of his visit to Lamezia Terme in 2011 and is also intended to be a tribute to the various Benedictine Abbeys in the area.
