The church is a splendid example of Norman architecture, with a precious limestone portal and three naves supported by massive lava stone pillars. Inside, it contains priceless paintings, including a Gothic triptych.

A church rebuilt on the ruins of a former Benedictine abbey. Its interior contains valuable works dating back to the Byzantine period. It is located within Nelson Castle.
Antonio Grimaldi
It's a shame to find it closed and generally neglected; the surrounding landscape is very pretty, however (I was there on November 18, 2019, and the photos are from that period).
