A beautiful jewel after the restoration

Romanesque church renovated after the 2012 earthquake. Through a transparent window, you can see the ancient foundations of the church, which was rebuilt following its destruction during the Investiture Controversy and the Battle of Sorbara in 1084 by Matilda of Canossa.
