An architectural gem of rare beauty, once a cloistered institution. Inside, it houses Francesco Solimena's Crucifixion and several other exquisite works of art. A source of local pride.

It's not easy to get there; you have to climb a small uphill road, which is best done by car. The interior is interesting, but it won't leave any lasting impressions. Adjacent to the church is the Convent of the Sisters, a huge structure once used as an orphanage, which has now lost its function and is almost entirely unused.

The church of Santa Teresa represents one of the best examples of sacred architecture in Solofra, as the unknown builder created the layout on an octagonal matrix, giving the site an architectural layout that was absolutely original for Solofra of the time.
