A charming church in the center of Caorso. It was rebuilt in the 14th century in Lombard Gothic style; in 1528, the 15th-century frescoes were covered with lime to stem the spread of the plague, and in 1576, Bishop Paolo Burali d'Arezzo, during his pastoral visit, ordered the construction of the presbytery.
This ancient church, founded between the 9th and 12th centuries, was part of the original settlement of Caorso. Its current appearance is the result of renovations in the 15th and 19th centuries. …
