Restored church that was kindly opened to us by the staff (very knowledgeable and very kind) who also takes care of the opening and management of the historic mechanical nativity scene that is located in the building next door. Absolutely worth a visit if you are there.

Inside, it houses a very evocative mechanical nativity scene: a myriad of motors move the characters, there's the sound of flowing water, and the transition of lights from day to night. I highly recommend seeing it!!! …

A huge disappointment for the children; after waiting in line for half an hour to get in, the nativity scene cycle lasts very little. It's pointless to ask the attendant to leave the children for the next cycle. It's much better to go see the nativity scene in Mignegno, near Pontremoli.
