The oldest church in Rodi Garganico, a nave converted into a convent in the 13th century. The lack of the traditional apse is striking, replaced by a flat surface enlivened by three niches containing statues of evangelical figures (Peter and Paul).

The Church of San Pietro, located in a charming little square, is the oldest church in the city. It was originally part of a convent built between 1216 and 1221 when, as legend has it, Saint Francis of Assisi made a pilgrimage to the grotto of Saint Michael on Monte Sant'Angelo.
