Built in the late 13th century on land owned by the future Pope Honorius IV, it was subsequently restored and renovated in the 18th century. In the single-nave interior, you can admire beautiful altarpieces and a beautiful fresco on the vault.
The Church of Saint Paul the Apostle is a Catholic place of worship in the city of Albano Laziale. Built in the 17th century, it houses the remains of Saint Gaspare del Bufalo, founder of the Congregation of the Missionaries of the Most Precious Blood.
It's the shrine of my patron saint. For me, it's a place I've known since childhood, linked to memories of trips to Rome and the Castelli Romani with my family, during which a visit to San Gaspare and a stop in the missionary college …
