This church dates back to the 8th century. It is believed to have been built by a Lombard lord. Given the numerous finds surrounding the current church, it's easy to assume that the area was originally a necropolis. Mass is available in the summer, but check the schedule. The nearby park also makes it an excellent place for picnics.
