The church, shaped like a large sail, is immersed in the greenery of Basiglio. It was inaugurated on October 2, 1988, and consecrated by Cardinal Carlo Maria Martini on September 28, 1990. Inside, there are contemporary works, and the most striking polychrome wooden sculpture of the "Virgin Annunciate" by Guido Lodigiani (1991).
