The Church of Buon Gesù takes its name from the Confraternity that took over its management in the early 16th century (it was previously dedicated to San Jacopo). The façade is almost indistinguishable from the surrounding buildings; the Baroque interior features three altars with stucco decorations and 17th-century altarpieces.

The sixteenth-century church houses numerous works inside, including the Dying Saint Joseph and the Madonna, eight beautiful medallions depicting various saints (1700), and the large canvas by Chiara Alberti depicting the Pietà.
