Beautiful place. An incredible blend of natural formations and man-made structures. You can see the Aeneas flowing through the valley gorge. In summer, the caves are incredibly cool. It's a shame about the constant hum of the highway.

I went to Mass on Sunday. It's a shame my wife froze to death, as there were so many modern "mushroom" heaters, but they'd been turned on too late and even during the Mass they were kept on low heat, probably to conserve gas from the gas cylinders.
