The church is located just a few steps from the center of Cerro Maggiore. Around the mid-1600s, the convent reached its peak splendor thanks to a nobleman from the Visconti family. This convent is known for housing the remains of Benito Mussolini for 11 years from 1946 to 1957. It is a small and charming church worth visiting.
