2009 Parish Church of Saints Gervasio and Protasio, dating back to 824, is located in Bormio's main square, known as Kuerc. Featuring a magnificent organ, its interior contains wooden sculptures and frescoes of notable interest. It was destroyed by a fire started by the Spanish during the Thirty Years' War. Worth a visit.

The first church was of very ancient origin, dating back to the time of Charlemagne (803), but was destroyed by Swiss troops in 1621. Rebuilt eight years later, it became an important vicariate. It houses important altarpieces and paintings.
