What a shame! That's the word I can say when I look at this church. A real shame for an area like Siniscola, which could excel in the beauty of its sites and landscapes throughout the province of Nuoro. I don't know the problems surrounding the church of Sant'Elena, but letting it "go like this" is a real shame!

Abandoned church, enclosed by a fence, not open to visitors. The surrounding landscape is picturesque. The directions on Maps are incorrect; to reach it, you have to turn right at the first opportunity once you've reached the dirt road.
