Romanesque style church consisting of three naves on which the central one has a raised altar and an ancient crypt. It is the first church built in the diocese of Como. It is always closed except for special functions, but if you want to visit it you have to call the very kind custodian who also acts as a guide. I recommend a visit.

Of early Christian foundation, restored in the Lombard era and later in the 11th century, it was governed by the Benedictines and then by the Order of Jerusalem. The altar and presbytery are raised, and beneath them lies the crypt. The salient façade reveals the building's internal structure, namely its three naves.
