Ruins of an ancient church dedicated to the Invention of Saint Stephen the Protomartyr. Invention means Invectio, or discovery (of the relics of Saint Stephen). Five stars for its history, zero stars for neglect and abandonment. It's true that it collapsed, but arranging the remains wouldn't hurt.

Walking through the ruins, you can take a journey back in time, amidst the plasterwork, the stone altar, and the stone floor. I hope for a conservative restoration that will make it a popular destination.

A real shame: abandonment and neglect have prevailed for too many years over the preservation of this ancient place of worship. Restoration work on the ruins has only been carried out in recent years; little remains of the original church, which has unfortunately been plundered several times.
