This has always been and always will be my favorite church in Rome. It just feels lighter than all of the other churches/basilicas/cathedrals. It feels airy and welcoming and it’s even more beautiful than any other church. I will always be happy to come back.

A beautiful and peaceful basilica to visit. Because it is outside the walls and away from a lot of other attractions, the basilica is generally not crowded. It is easily accessible from the metro.
