A truly unique and magical place! The 13th-century monastery feels like a fairy tale. Easy to reach with good roads, and worth spending an hour or two here. Highly recommend if you’re in Ikaria.

A must see if you are on the northern part of Ikaria. You can actually eat some here too . Clean bathrooms and a lovely souvenir shop. We explored the church chapel in the rocks at the top of the hill. Very nice!!

Beautiful place, stunning scenery. I visited yesterday but monastery was closed. Very peaceful and serene place. Loved hiking through the pine trees and seeing waterfalls.
