The ruins of Church of the Virgin Mary of the Burgh is a historical landmark located in Rodhítsa.
Free to visit church ruins, pretty nice, but also kind of awkward how girls in bathing suits go to take selfies and photos posing on the eastern side of the once-church... oh well. Very close to a beautiful gate and also followed by a small park/garden.
This church is a well preserved ruin. There is no charge to enter. It is quite beautiful! It was very clean and obviously well cared for. There was a guard as you entered. On the outside wall there is a plaque and a couple of educational boards. This is located on the outskirts of the medieval village towards the dock.
I was told I was lucky to find the place this empty, because it’s usually crowded. Still I found some disgrace of having a family talking out loud inside the house. It’s a shame the persons inside controlling and guarding can’t say anything …
