A beautiful, impressive ancient temple for Zeus. It is in a relatively good condition, considering none of the columns need support. It is located in a quiet area with nature all around it and doesn't get overcrowded, so you can take your time and enjoy the serenity of this magical place.
Very beautiful place where the reconstructed ancient temple stands in a beautiful natural park and garden. The museum displaying findings from the excavation is suitably composed into the garden. Most exciting are the excavations of ancient baths with sinks and piping.
A very nice place to visit. Not crowded, you can basically walk everywhere and see the remains from very close. Note to those who are using this point for getting google maps directions - it will lead you to the dead end. Use museum pinpoint for navigation, because the entrance is next to the museum.
