St Paul's underground church
4CM2+87, Nea Fokea 630 77, Greece
St Paul's underground church is a religious destination located in Néa Fókaia.
A small church built into the rock, a cave church. Formerly a Macedonian tomb. Only a chest-high door leads to a small vestibule with icons, then on to the holy spring of St. Paul and the small altar. NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH CLOSENESS ANXIETY!!
A beautiful church. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
