This beautiful church was built in the 14th century. During the Ottoman empire it was converted into a mosque to be converted back into a church after Greece's independence in 1830. It's a small church but worth the visit. Check out the beautiful colored stone inlays on the floor.

The Holy Church of Agia Sophia (1350) in the upper town of Mystras, Greece, was converted into a mosque during two periods of Ottoman rule. Prior to this it was the burial place of the rulers of the late Byzantine despotate.
