The fortress of Sidirokastro isn’t very well maintained and there’s barely anything to see—nothing really special inside. The only highlight is probably the nice view you get from up there. If you’re nearby, it’s okay for a quick stop, but don’t expect much.
Minas Avlonitis
Unfortunately, a completely abandoned attraction. Difficult access by dirt road. I personally was enchanted by the view and the location of the Byzantine castle. Too bad it is in a state of disrepair.....
