One of the ""popular""archeological places in greece. With the same ticket u can visit the ancient site as well and the museum. If u like or want to know bout greek history is one of the must visit places!!!

Absolutely must visit if you are in Athens. The public bus trip from Athens takes 3 hours. About 2 hours is enough in the archeological site. It is a very organized site, well paved steps, security guards, same route up & down. Definitely doable daytrip, taking 0830 bus from Athens, & return bus @1600.
