A 15th century Byzantine church, beautiful inside and out. It operates, if I'm not mistaken, once a week in the morning. Outside, there is access via stairs to the courtyard, which has mosaic floors and a baptistery that is not accessible daily and is certainly from the first centuries AD.
The interior of the church, in the heart of the city, is awe-inspiring. It is worth visiting, lighting a candle outside, going inside the church, which is a wooden-roofed basilica-like building, admiring the frescoes, the iconostasis and …
Small archaeological site nestled within a group of buildings. Very interesting church to visit.
