One of the few places in Upper Bavaria with a well-preserved Romanesque crypt

Formerly a Romanesque basilica, it was remodeled in the Baroque style. The crypt is one of the oldest church spaces in the entire region. The dedication to St. Zeno suggests the church's great age. There is a St. Zeno Church in Bad Reichenhall as well as the St. Zeno Cathedral in Trento.

I was there recently for a baptism. The church is very beautiful, but unfortunately, we barely saw anything of the ceremony because the families of the three baptism candidates had to squeeze into a small corner. But what I saw and heard was wonderful.
