St. Silvester
Pfarrer-Gelb-Straße 2, 86874 Tussenhausen, Germany
St. Silvester is a catholic church located in Tussenhausen.
A late Gothic building, once beautifully decorated in the Rococo style and featuring frescoes by J. B. Enderle, as in the neighboring parish house. Unfortunately, this decor was removed in the 19th century and then modernized again in the 20th century. The current furnishings focus on the essentials.
For me, it's one of the most beautiful churches. Precisely because it's understated and simple – and not crammed full of pomp and circumstance – I greatly appreciate this place of peace and prayer.
A simple but beautiful church!
