A quiet place in the middle of the town of Daun
Except for parts of the tower and the crypt, the present-day St. Nicholas Church was built between 1946 and 1949. The post-war reconstruction was carried out by the renowned Cologne Cathedral architect Willi Weyres, resulting in a blend of Romanesque and modern architectural elements. The organ was built by the Wilbrand company.
