The monastery is visible from afar, perched atop the monastery hill. It's so beautiful. There's plenty of parking all around. The walk from the car to the church is short. The church is impressively beautiful, large, imposing, yet simple. The surroundings are idyllic.

The parish church of St. George was rebuilt in the neo-Baroque style after a fire destroyed the monastery and church and was consecrated in 1903. The furnishings also date from the construction period and are worth seeing.
