The current church replaced a dilapidated Baroque chapel. It is a beautiful, neo-Gothic country church, built in 1868/69 by Max Treu. The interior features a net-ribbed vault. The furnishings are consistent and complete from the time of its construction. The side altars feature remarkable late Gothic figures.
