St. Nikolaus

St. Nikolaus is a catholic church located in Kottenheim.
The three-aisled neo-Gothic basilica was built between 1854 and 1857 by Cologne Cathedral master builder Vincenz Statz, and the tower was extended by Kottenheim architect Caspar Clemens Pickel. The overall structure is a beautiful sight, inviting visitors to marvel and linger.
I'm no longer religious, but I enjoy looking at beautiful, well-maintained churches. This one is worth a visit!
