St. Magnus
Kirchpl. 2, 86871 Rammingen, Germany
St. Magnus is a catholic church located in Ramerberg.
A magnificent Rococo church, its rich, uniform furnishings are well preserved. The visual experience is a wonderful symbiosis of space, stucco, paintings, and furnishings. Unfortunately, the church is only open to the public on Sunday afternoons in the summer. The four-part bell ringing is quite appealing.
The Rococo St. Magnus Church is very beautiful, a feast for the eyes. We attended the benefit concert and were delighted by the performances given by the local clubs. It was truly wonderful and solemn; keep up the good work. Thank you!
This church features a uniform Rococo interior, with excellent frescoes by J. B. Enderle. The building was constructed using bricks from the demolished Angelberg Castle (Tussenhausen). The church is usually locked, but the key can be obtained from the neighbors (a note is posted on the church door).
