The Church of St. Andreas in Pemfling surprised me. The building is already a stately structure from the outside. But the interior furnishings are impressive. I'm not familiar with anything like it in any other church in the area.

One of the most beautiful Baroque churches in the Upper Bavarian Forest. The church's magnificent Baroque design dates back to the earlier period when Pemflung was still a popular Marian pilgrimage site. The altars were designed by Paul Hager, making it well worth a visit.
