This chapel was built in 2018 by architect Wilhelm Huber along the Seven Chapels cycle path. Park your car first and continue on foot for 600 meters.
The Denzel Chapel 'Emersacker', with its 12-meter-high tower, resembles a large tree stump that will eventually merge with the forest. From the covered entrance area, one enters the white interior, which receives its light solely through a specially designed blue skylight. It exudes pure tranquility.
Despite its location (in the forest, which I love), I liked the chapel the least. But it's worth a visit to see for yourself how blue it is inside.
