St. Stephen's Church in Swantow is located off the beaten track and therefore certainly not very busy. The trip is definitely worth it, even if you can't visit the church's interior. The architecture from the outside alone is quite impressive. We therefore definitely recommend it!

A very beautiful 15th-century church that is very well preserved. In the cemetery, there are still some very old gravestones. Opposite is a small stall where you can buy handmade items for a small price.

A very old church, but quite well preserved and renovated. The "organ" sounds like a harmonium. Unfortunately, there's no heating, so it's very cold. You should dress warmly in autumn/winter. Otherwise, it's okay. Since it's probably the oldest church on Rügen, it's worth a visit.
