The church stands directly on a hillside with views far beyond Kaufering and across to Landsberg. The interior is impressively rich in stucco.

We hiked from Landsberg (about 5 km) to Kaufering to visit this beautiful church. It was completed around 1700 AD and decorated with extensive stucco by Johann Schützer and Son. It's well worth a visit!
